If you’re in the mood for a lunar eclipse, NASA says that there will be one later today, but it probably won’t be anything too spectacular according to their description . The partial lunar eclipse will be taking place during the day in the US, but there will be a live stream from Dubai that will start at 3 pm ET. This will mark the first lunar eclipse of 2013, but it won’t be a full one.

With Ultrabook on its back while its tablet display detaches from its keyboard dock, it is what Toshiba hopes will create yet another market for notebooks: the detachable Ultrabook.

LG plans to launch a flexible OLED smartphone before the end of the year, the company’s VP of mobile has confirmed, though it’s unclear to what extent the work-in-progress handset will actually flex. The OLED panel in question is the handiwork of LG Display according to VP of LG mobile Yoon Bu-hyun, the WSJ reports, with the proposed device set to launch sometime in Q4. LG Display’s work on flexible OLEDs has been underway for some time, though the company’s efforts have perhaps been overshadowed somewhat by rival Samsung’s YOUM development

Justice Department authorized ISPs to bypass Wiretap Act
The Justice Department is toying with the definitions of “legal,” according to the folks over at CNET , which say the Electronic Privacy Information Center provided them with documents detailing a bypass of the Wiretap Act. Says the report, the Justice Department has sent out letters to a variety of ISPs absolving them of repercussions for intercepting Internet communications. The letters were sent in secret to a variety of providers, among them being AT&T, giving the ISPs permission to interception communications that go through their network, a violation of the Wiretap Act

The Unity 4 engine has given Flash gaming a lot of TLC by simplifying web ports of complex projects. If you ask Unity Technologies, however, that love isn’t being requited — and the company feels jilted enough to stop offering new Flash licenses, effective immediately. Adobe supposedly isn’t committed enough to the plugin, having halted work on both a re-engineered Flash Player Next as well as an attractive revenue sharing model.
