Popular social networking site Facebook just hit the corporate ‘like’ button on Instagram in a big way, agreeing to buy the photo sharing app-maker for a whopping one billion dollars. The purchase is said to be Facebook’s largest purchase to date , and comes hot on the heels of Instagram’s debut on Google’s Android platform last week.
