To date, it seems that Mountain View has employed a loose definition of the term “integrated,” neglecting to offer such Google Voice features as a unified messaging inbox, or an option to access voicemails without switching back to the dedicated app. Well we have some good news for those of you that haven’t completely abandoned voice-based communication. The latest GV update adds a special topping to that Ice Cream Sandwich (sorry, Gingerbread men), letting you launch visual voicemails directly from your Android call log — and bringing Voice integration a step closer to actually being integrated

You’ll still have to wait a bit longer for a major update to the mobile apps, but Twitter has today rolled out some big changes to TweetDeck for Mac, Windows and Chrome. That includes some added options for lists (including the ability to create and edit lists from within the application), new activity and interactions columns, inline media previews, and a new “Edit & RT” feature in place of the previous “Quote” option. After adding live TV streaming features to the DirecTV iPad app last fall, the company is expanding the feature today by pushing an upgrade that lets viewers watch video (but no live TV, yet) even when they’re away from home. Dubbed DirecTV Everywhere, it follows up on the company’s promises of more video for customer’s mobile devices , offering “selected” video on-demand programming for on the go viewing. The Solid Signal Blog has an early preview of the new features with more screenshots and a video, revealing that available content at the moment consists of premium movie channels (HBO networks, Starz, Sony Movie Channel) and DirecTV’s own Audience Network
