Right on schedule, Sony and Activision have teamed up again for this “Limited Edition” Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 bundle that’s due to ship May 25th. Unfortunately, once you’ve opened the box the special experience is pretty much over, with only standard console and game inside, replacing the usual Uncharted 3 offering — unlike last year’s 160GB Black Ops combo , there’s no free DLC (or anything else) to be had

Sony’s PlayMemories Studio now live on PSN, get your Playstation 3 photo-edit on

Yesterday’s rumor about Sony launching PlayMemories Studio this week has just become fact. The $15 editing suite has just gone live on the PlayStation Store, enabling plebes to edit, organize and share photos (and video) right on their home console of choice, the PS3.

Sony to add photo editing to PlayStation 3′s repertoire this week?

Limber up those thumbs gaming gurus, because a new challenge may be on its way to your PlayStation 3 console: photo editing. PCWorld is reporting that Sony will be rolling out some new “photo editing software” for the PS3 early this week. Tweaking photos aside, the software’s ultimate purpose will be to provide access to and allow the sharing of digital stills through the company’s PlayMemories Online (and your other Sony portable media devices), which is set to launch later this year.

RealVNC teams up with Sony to bring Android apps to the dashboard

Sony and RealVNC have announced a partnership that aims to liberate your smartphone’s applications and content, bringing the wares to your car’s dashboard. Once a VNC-enabled vehicle and Android handset are paired, users can access and manipulate the device’s applications, music library and stream web content directly to the car’s infotainment system. In order to preserve public safety, and meet “regulatory requirements,” the system can detect vehicle velocity and will revoke the proverbial keys to your mobile kingdom while you’re in motion

PS3 v4.10 update is live with an improved browser, Sony Entertainment Network nameplate

The latest update for Sony’s PlayStation 3 is live and available for download from via your PlayStation Netw…oops, Sony Entertainment Network account. While we get used to the new branding (nothing we could see in the system UI has actually changed at all), there’s a few tweaks included in v4.10, like some sorely needed upgrades for the web browser and the ability to set the time and date automatically upon each sign-in.
