BlackBerry Mini Keyboard ships March 23rd for $120, a match made in Canada
While there’s an array of unofficial third-party keyboards willing to pair up with your 7-inch RIM slate , an approved peripheral is likely to be the better option. At least, it’s what the BlackBerry-authorized add-on aims to accomplish. Dubbed Mini Keyboard, which also doubles as a “convertible” case, it’s said to start shipping on March 23rd for $120, packing a multitouch trackpad and claiming up to a month of juice on a single charge

It goes without saying that one of the beauties of Android is how easily customizable it can be. For example, you’re not shackled to its stock keys and can easily swap in a third-party solution such as Siine; which is packing strange, but useful, features like “Sexy Delete.” To go along with the provocative erasing, Siine offers an array of tap-driven icons that act as phrase shortcuts, allowing you to enter anything from “what’s up” to “miss me” — you can even program your own.

Razer’s switchblade concept may not have made it out of CES 2011 , but its dynamic, adaptive keys lived on, both in the outfit’s Star Wars: The Old Republic keyboard and Blade laptop . The hardware is slick, to be sure, but what if you could snag similar functionality for free from your local app marketplace ? That’s what ROCCAT hopes to deliver with its newly announced Power-Grid application

While Samsung waits to debut its take on the Google TV platform, LG is already showing off its hardware, including a new remote control. For LG’s part, it has decided to blend the QWERTY needs of a Google TV controller with its existing Magic Motion remote gesture control and scroll wheel technology

Line 6 hasn’t been a stranger to uniting musician’s iDevices and MIDI controllers with its MIDI-Mobilizers , but now it’s unleashing a duo of keyboard-style controllers of its own here at CES. Its Mobile Keys can connect straight to your iPhone‘s 30-pin port, and even over USB if you feel like recording some loops straight from your computer

The second round of Google TV hardware will be in full swing at CES 2012, and the folks at Mountain View just officially announced LG is joining the list of hardware partners at the show. While we know Logitech was taking a pass on the latest hardware, previously announced partners Samsung, Sony and Vizio are still in and the latter two will have new hardware to show next week. While this morning’s announcement by Marvell revealed the platform’s switch to ARM processors from the Intel chips it launched on, the company mentioned MediaTek is also on board to build compatible chipsets, while the line of products from LG will run on the company’s own L9 setup

Even though all signs indicate Samsung will be joining the Google TV party shortly , it’s not going to give up on its own existing Smart TV platform just yet. We don’t know if it will run the two side by side as it has operated with Yahoo! Widgets , but the Korean manufacturer has announced it plans to release version 3.0 of its SDK January 5th.

Sufficiently enamored with Samsung’s Galaxy S III that you’ve got to have one in the US before anyone else, and you don’t want it sullied by carrier customizations in the trip across the Pacific?

We can’t be certain as to how many units of the HTC EVO 4G LTE have made it out of customs thus far, but it appears the number is high enough for Sprint to officially set a date for shipping the device out to those who pre-ordered it online. A Sprint representative reached out to us to share the company’s statement from this afternoon that customers should expect to receive their valuable treasure “on or around” May 24th. We’re not in love with the “around” terminology, but this could simply be due to a high amount of demand.

(Credit: Pentax) I have to admit: the $900 Pentax K-30 dSLR sounds like a pretty promising replacement for the K-r. Rugged on the outside with the potential for the same excellent photo quality as the K-01 mirrorless ILC, claimed faster autofocus performance than the already fast K-5, and a 100 percent coverage viewfinder that you usually only see in more expensive models all add up to a possibly great start to the Pentax-Ricoh era. Though it’s not “durable” in the same sense as bodies like the Nikon D4 or Canon EOS-1D X , with parts designed to withstand heavy photographic abuse, the K-30 offers weather-and-dust resistance, with claims of usability down to 14 degrees (most cameras only guarantee down to 32 degrees); that said, Pentax makes no claims about battery life at those temperatures.

House After eight seasons, the run of Gregory House MD comes to an end on Fox tonight with a double episode. While we’ll miss Hugh Laurie fumbling around on our American TV screens every week, it definitely felt like time for the series to come to an end. We’ll see how Wilson’s cancer diagnosis wraps up and if any other old characters stop by after Thirteen popped up last week, although we will avoid throwing back a Vicodin just for old time’s sake.

Never one to focus exclusively on the very latest hardware , a new mod has brought an 6502 microprocessor to a Minecraft world near you. The system is made from three separate cubes, representing the CPU, monitor and disk drive, respectively, all connected by ribbon cables. Part of pre-release 5 of the RedPower 2 mod, programmer Eloraam has also thrown in pumps and solar panels to keep crafters busy — you’re no longer limited to light switches
