Those gosh-darned hackers just refuse to get off Sony’s lawn, serving up yet another exploit for the outfit’s latest baby, the PlayStation Vita . Well, sort of — the Vita’s own code hasn’t been breached, but it sure plays nice with PlayStation 3 custom firmware 3.55 . The PS3 tweak apparently recognizes the Vita as a mobile phone, which somehow allows it to Remote Play a wider assortment of PS3 games than normal

Turtle Beach announced a duo of new XBOX 360 and PS3 gaming headsets on day one of CES , and we were able to spend a bit of time with one of them, the XP400 , on the show floor. It’s Turtle Beach’s flagship gaming headset, featuring adjustable Dolby 5.1 virtual surround sound, a non-AD2P dual-pairing Bluetooth radio for picking up phone calls during gaming sessions, a 15 hour rechargeable battery and dual-band 2.4/5GHZ built-in WiFi.
Looks like Sony is reaping the benefits of strong holiday sales for its range of consoles coming under the PlayStation umbrella.
Netflix still isn’t offering a firm date for its launch in the UK , but it looks like some of the final pieces are starting to fall into place. The company’s PlayStation 3 app is now hitting consoles across the pond, displaying the message you see above when it’s launched. Unfortunately, that’s about all we have to go on at the moment, but PS3 users can now at least rest assured that they won’t have any waiting to do when Netflix does finally flip the switch — one more shot after the break.
