We can’t be certain as to how many units of the HTC EVO 4G LTE have made it out of customs thus far, but it appears the number is high enough for Sprint to officially set a date for shipping the device out to those who pre-ordered it online. A Sprint representative reached out to us to share the company’s statement from this afternoon that customers should expect to receive their valuable treasure “on or around” May 24th. We’re not in love with the “around” terminology, but this could simply be due to a high amount of demand.

Nikon D3200 now shipping from Best Buy, unboxing video gets personal with new features
Nikon promised us a “late April” shipment of its D3100 replacement, and sure enough, it looks to have met that self-imposed deadline. The black D3200 kit is now shipping from Best Buy warehouses, and while a litany of other reputable e-tailers have the unit listed ( check our links below ), we’re seeing it backordered elsewhere. That said, these things are obviously trickling into the places that matter most, and determined to-be buyers can almost certainly call around to find one in stock.

Roku adds BBC iPlayer channel as it starts shipping in the UK
Just as Netflix is nearly ubiquitous on media streaming platforms in the US, BBC’s iPlayer is pretty much a default app in the UK so it’s no surprise to see it show up on Roku’s boxes just as they start shipping across the Atlantic . As detailed in the press release after the break, those shiny new Roku LT and Roku 2 XS hockey pucks are well on their way to punters who’ve shelled out £ 50 / £ 100, respectively, with over 40 available channels. Unfortunately, that announcement doesn’t extend to global iPlayer support outside the UK and Republic of Ireland, so we’ll have to catch up on MI-5 some other way
